  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter and mix in sugar and eggs.
  2. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; combine with the wet mixture.
  3. Pour batter into a greased springform pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
  5. Pour the cheesecake layer over the cooled brownie layer and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
