Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper until browned and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for another 3–4 minutes until creamy.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, combine with the sauce and cooked linguine. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency as needed.
  6. Serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
