  • 1 cup diced onion
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • ⅓ cup broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, bread crumbs, broth, eggs, tomato paste, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf or press it into a greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
  5. Prepare the glaze by mixing ketchup and vinegar in a small bowl. After 40 minutes, spread the glaze over the meatloaf and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
