  • 200g fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt, black pepper, paprika to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot and cook fettuccine or linguine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. 2. Sauté shrimp: In a skillet, season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat butter over medium heat and sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove from heat.
  3. 3. Prepare Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually mix in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
