  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 12 tbsp liquid sweetener (maple syrup, agave, etc.)
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar agar powder
  • 1 cup beet/berry/cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup berry jam
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar agar powder

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together 1 cup of orange juice, 1-2 tablespoons of liquid sweetener, and 1.5 teaspoons of agar agar powder. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it simmers. Stir continuously for 2 minutes then pour into molds and set aside.
  3. Blend 1 cup of beet/berry/cherry juice with 1/4 cup berry jam and 1.5 teaspoons of agar agar powder until smooth.
  4. Simmer the berry mixture for another 2 minutes before layering it on top of the orange mixture in the molds.
  5. Chill for at least 2-3 hours until set, then remove from molds and enjoy!
