  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup butternut squash, cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss cubed butternut squash with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional cinnamon. Roast for 25–30 minutes until tender.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook cubed chicken until golden brown. Stir in minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; simmer until well-coated.
  3. Steam or blanch broccoli for about 3–4 minutes until bright green.
  4. Assemble the bowl by layering cooked rice at the base, topped with roasted squash, steamed broccoli, and glazed chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
