  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for about 15 minutes until slightly crispy.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage for 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque; remove from skillet.
  4. Lower heat to medium and melt butter in the skillet. Sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes; simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet along with roasted broccoli. Toss to coat everything in the sauce and heat through for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles and enjoy!
