  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 6 small cucumbers
  • 8 sprigs fresh dill
  • 4 cloves garlic (peeled and sliced thin)
  • 2 tablespoons pickling spice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Wash cucumbers and cut each into four spears.
  3. Pack cucumber spears upright in clean glass jars with dill sprigs, garlic slices, and pickling spices.
  4. Pour cooled brine over cucumbers until fully submerged. Seal jars tightly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
