  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
  • 3 cups water
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cook jasmine rice in salted water until fluffy; keep warm.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add chicken pieces; cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Stir in sliced onion and bell peppers; cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add soy sauce, crushed red chili flakes, and optional cornstarch slurry; mix well.
  7. Continue stir-frying for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is coated with sauce.
  8. Serve hot over jasmine rice.
