  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk and melted butter; combine. Add the egg and knead until smooth. Let rise covered for 60 minutes.
  2. For the filling, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth; fold in strawberries and jam.
  3. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it.
  4. Spread cheesecake mixture on top, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
  5. Roll tightly from one edge; slice into 12 pieces.
  6. Place in a greased baking dish; let rise for an additional 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, beat cream cheese with butter, mix in powdered sugar and vanilla; adjust consistency with milk as needed.
