  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside; use the drippings to sauté the mushrooms until browned.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
  4. Fold in half of the shredded Swiss cheese into the mixture.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on your prepared baking sheet. Top with remaining cheese, cooked mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  7. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
